We always eat at the south of the border cafe right on hwy61. It is not fancy,but good food! Marc

I like both Blue Water and South of the Border with a slight edge going to South of the Border. You definitely need something from the Worlds Best Donuts for the drive up the Gunflint ;)

Not many choices. I've been there many times and I actually think the Blue Water Cafe is just average. Nothing to write home about.

I've eaten at Bluewater (it's OK), but not before entering, so I don't know what time they open . . . ? I usually eat cold cereal in the motel and go.
