Does anyone know of an outfitter or service who provides shuttles in the Ely area for folks who aren't renting any gear or canoes? We're putting in on Fall lake and might want to exit through Mudro. Since we have all our own gear and are camping at the Fall Lake site the night before our trip, all we need to do is have me drive our car to Mudro, then get a ride back to Fall.

Before I email or call all the outfitters who offer shuttle services around Ely, does anyone know who might be best to start with? I don't know if anything changes if I'm not renting gear through the outfitter.

Thanks!

I'm willing to shuttle you if I'm home. I don't live far from Mudro so it's only an hour of my day to get you on your way. Drop me an email.

I'm sure many would offer the service if the price is right.

If you're camping at Fall Lake the night before does that mean your car drop off at Mudro is somewhat flexible the day before you enter? I would call around to some of the outfitters in the Ely area to see if they have a scheduled drop off at Mudro the day before you enter at fall lake and see if you can coordinate a pick up at Mudro and drop off at Fall Lake. You'll up your odds of someone being willing to do it for a reasonable price if you can sync up the timing.

Just get in contact with a nearby outfitter. I used Voyager North Outfitters at the start of my trip to get a shuttle between my car at Wood Lake and my gear which I had left at Fall Lake. I think it was like $20 or something, maybe 10 but not more than 20.

I thought the same thing as I was typing my original reply.
