Lots of rapids in that area that may look tempting to run...don't do it, be safe!
The channel connecting Little Gabbro to Gabbro holds fish.

I'm heading in on the S Kawishiwi River in 2 days. It's been 12 years since I've been on a 'real' canoe trip. Just wanted to say thank you to the forum. I discovered this group about 6 months and about a dozen packages of new gear ago. I plan to do a trip report upon my return. Doing a basecamp with some really good friends. Priority is fishing and laughing. Planning for this trip got us through winter. If anyone has any last minute tips for the area, we'll take it. God speed!
