Mark, maybe that's why it's called Spring Creek... Water levels are best in the spring. Haha. I'd think if any year you'd have good water levels it would be this year. I should connect you with Chuck from Spring Creek Outfitters... Now spring Creek manufacturing... He was bought out... But that is the creek their company was named for. His dad and group did that trip every year.

His dad and group did that trip every year." We might do it in the spring, Lisa Adventure needs a little more training 1st, I would like to here about there trips through there.

Has any tried to paddle this from the Angleworm portage to Beartrap river through Spring creek. is it doable.

I did it about ten years ago. Water was very high. I was solo in a bell Yellowstone. You might not make it to a real campsite or even solid ground for a campsite. My only trip report mentions this trip. It recall someone else on this site doing this creek.

Pork eaters report make it sound like a cake walk, I went in mid October ,rain, tempts in the thirties. Miserable but great at the same time. It’s a bwca thing, based on his report and mine give it a shot if the water is high, otherwise expect some dragging canoes though mid. Easily the most wild section of bwca I’ve been in.
