Does anybody know if the creek that flows south east out of Thursday Bay Back to Wednesday Bay has water high enough to paddle?

There aren't any creeks even close to having enough water in that area. You have to go through either "big" or "little current" to get between the two

Are you talking about this creek that flows out of Jackfish lake?

It is possible to travel through there but you'll be hard pressed to find someone with a current report on water levels. Sounds like the portage from Wednesday Bay to Wabosons is frequented more often then the creek/portages from Wabosons to Thursday Bay which might be a total bushwhack. I bet it would have floated a canoe when water levels were high this May. Personally, I don't think it would be worth trying this late in the year. There has been discussion of this on this site, you'll want to search for Jackfish Lake, Wabosons Lake or Tick Lake PMA. That route falls inside of the Tick Lake PMA so the portages are not actively managed and you'll need a secondary PMA permit to camp on Wabosons or Jackfish.

Thank you for your feedback. You are correct. We are looking to go from Thursday bay down to Wabosons back up to Wednesday bay. We are trying to do Crooked path starting and finishing at Basswood. We have done the full basswood to Mudro in the past but due to a broken wrist and only a 6 day trip I thought it would at least put us into some new area.

I was just up on Thursday bay last week and did the 12 or so rod portage in the southeast corner of the bay. I was hoping we might find some crappies in there, but all we got was one 4" perch. I was suprised to see a little bit of grass matted down as we landed at the portage - it looked like someone had been there recently. Im not sure if they just portaged in and out like us, or if they came all the way from Wednesday bay. We paddled about a half mile south where the small lake becomes a creek before turning around. It was pretty shallow and weedy in the creek but it looked like you could float a canoe through the couple hundred yards we could see. I don't know if I would risk going down that shallow creek much further though, at least not fully loaded. It looked pretty shallow without a lot of margin for much lower water levels.
