I've never backpacked around Angleworm but I did do it as a very long day hike in May once. Very nice! I've also paddled and portaged into the lake from Hegman and really enjoyed it. For water you are close to the lake much of the time, but look at your map, there are a few longer stretches that are further from the lake, so get water before those. Any campsite in there will probably be nice. Have a great trip!

Hello everybody.
I have two group canoeing trips under my belt and, this September, I am combining my first solo trip with my first hiking trip. I am dropping in at EP20 and hiking the Angleworm Trail. I have two full days and leave on Sunday.

If you have any stories or experiences with the trail, I’d love to hear them. Any suggestions on campsites, good sources to pull water, what to expect for people/busy-ness, basically anything you want to tell me would be helpful.

Thanks! I’m very stoked. Is it September 9th yet!?!?
