About a mile north of Montgomery there are some pictographs on the cliffs near the creek.

haven't been that way but the short up and down portage which follows the creek to the unnamed lake south of Buckingham from Buckingham was about half beaver pond last year and tough to find. My guess is that it would be virtually all a bushwhack and a very tough one at that. If you have a few days for it... maybe a great adventure?

on one of the maps it looks like there is a creek from buckingham to montgomery
i assume they may be beaver filled, swamps, dried up ??

just wondering if anyone has attempted to go that way??
Thank you

The creek is not paddleable. I did a day trip down to see the pictographs (No gear) in 2010-2012. I think I did a trip report but I cant find it.
