Does anyone have information on how long it takes to go from Lerome Lake to Sue Falls? Looks like entry point 22. Just curious what it would be like to try it out. Thanks.

I have done it in a day solo & triple portaging with heavy packs. The last portage is steep but you will be going downhill.

Double portaging it, it has taken us anywhere from 5-7 hrs in the past. The 7 hr trip included dodging tstorms, hail, heavy winds with microbursts, etc. The five hour was a return trip with lighter packs and better route knowledge. Good luck!

We just exited that way. Took us about 4 hours single portaging.

Not too bad really....

Lerome to Bewag...about 30 meters long, steep and some winding going uphill around a small falls. We found it easiest to two man the canoes here.

There is a shallow, reedy paddle through on Bewag.

Bewag to Lark....a little over 100 meters, lightly hilly and rocky. Short downhill to some mud at the south end.

Lark to Cirrus Creek/Cole Lake.....a little over 100 meters, rocky...about 5-10 meters of thigh deep mud to the put in on the south end.

Cirrus Creek/Cole Lake to Cirrus Lake....about 500 meters. marshy landing on the north end. finishes in long steep downhill on the south end. Sue Falls has a small landing and trail to it a short canoe paddle to the west of the portage.

If your camping there, use campsite BD on the eastern point. It's larger and nicer than the western point. In addition to a nice landing and small tent area on the lower part of the site, there is a short uphill trail less than 10 meters to a large rock area with another camping area behind it.
