Can a BH entry permit be picked up at PP the day prior?

In years past I have tried to pick up permits at a ranger station different than the one "assigned" to that entry point. No luck. Just a couple of years ago I tried to get a LLC permit at Prairie. Called the park HQ but still no luck.

I would think so. We pick up our BH permit at the Atikokan ranger station every year and we've been told that if get into town too late, we could go to Dawson Trail and pick it up.
Give 'em a call: 807 597-2735. I bet PP doesn't issue too many permits for Beaverhouse.

May be in Ely the day before BH entry and I would like to get an early start on BH. Looked on their web site and doesn't look like it is possible. Maybe I can get one of the Canadian outfitters near Flanders to pick it up.

Not sure how this would give you an early start @ BH given PP's location. That said, I am 99% positive that you cannot get a BH permit @ PP. Last year I inquired if I could get a Falls Chain permit from PP and was told no; that had to come from Cache Bay.
