MattM: "Does anyone have information on the 131 rod portaged located at the north east end of the southern arm of Cirrus that leads to northern end of Quetico?

PP lists the portage as #5107.

PP does not have any comments on it, and I really don't want to have to backtrack if the portage does not actually exist.

I think stevedug asked about this portage recently, but the reply he received seemed to be referring to one of the two shorter portages (#5113, #5111) located about halfway up the southern arm of Cirrus.

I did a search but could not find much regarding this portage. Forgive me if this has been covered and I missed it.

Thanks in advance!

He was referring to the same portage as you. It is 131 rods or 660 meters on the Chrismar map. It is on the new Chrismar map that came out 4 yrs ago.

If no one replies you may want to brows some trip reports. I kind of remember that one being mentioned.

Portage is easy. Dry, open, and with slight inclines.
