Never made it to Robin, but my brother boated a couple of nice Quetico Lake pike from the large bay leading back to the Robin portage.

I have seen a "report" from someone who went through Robin a few years back. Not sure if it was on this forum though. You might look on QuietJourney forum. Good luck. --Goose

Can anybody tell me anything about Robin Lake? (South of Quetico Lake) What kind of fish are in there, decent campsites?

All this info is from a QJ forum search: 2014 -- "Robin Lake is a treat." 2006: "The portage from Quetico Lake into Robin is in fine shape. There is a low spot which could be a problem but it is only 40 yards long. We spent a day fishing Robin. All we caught were about 20 northern. The biggest was 33 inches. The lake has dark water. The lake is over 70 feet in several spots. So it could have trout, but we didn't catch any. There were only one or two campsites on the lake. The west end seemed fairly shallow. The east end was much deeper." 2006: "I ran into a large party coming out. They mentioned that they go in to the same spot there, year after year. They were well-equipped for fishing, that's for sure. They also had smiles on their faces." --Goose
