I've caught all 4 species on Cirrus and have fished most areas of the lake. My best luck for walleye on Cirrus has been on the east end, just a short distance west of the bay where Sue Falls outflow is located. A reef in that vicinity has been very good to me.

The west end is OK. It seems that I've had to keep moving to find them. Never seem to catch them in the same areas while fishing the west end.

Good luck on your trip!

We caught a few while trolling in between better-looking fishing spots....I imagine with a bit more skill and effort we could've done pretty good on them.

Seemed like our best spots while trolling were when the lures would hit the bottom (as in, there was a shallow reef or point under water). Pretty typical stuff, I'd say.

Cirrus is a great waldo fishery. I've had good success fishing windblown reefs, bays, and points. Many 3-5 lb Waldo's.

My crew was on Cirrus last summer. No spectacular fishing, but we had plenty for our meals. Two Portages from Beaverhouse to Cirrus.

I was advised to fish for 'eyes around the island NE of the channel between upper and lower Cirrus. Looked like perfect spot but I only caught SMB. Just east of that island is supposed to be good for trolling up a laker. (I may be wrong, but I don't think Cirrus is a walleye "destination" lake.) Many big pike have come out of there, though. That's all I know . . . --Goose

Due to a surgery a few weeks back I was unable to make my typical late June trip to the B Dub/Quetico. If the doctor gives me the ok at my 6 week checkup I would like to take a quick trip. I have had very good luck on the eastern end of Quetico Lake, but I am thinking of the western end of Cirrus. I thought that might be a little closer and easier to get to. Has anybody had any luck with walleye here or is the Quetico still all fished out and I should stay home.
