Who knows maybe we would be getting blockaded at the border crossing and no Quetico for us.

Boy I am glad all is well and we are kissing friends with are neighbors again.

I figured maybe the Friends of Quetico website contact form was not working correctly and maybe they were not getting their email so I searched for an alternative email address and sent a note mentioning this message thread and I got the reply below.

I thought I heard that F of Q shutdown. Something about the guy running it relocated and no one else picked it up. I too wanted a few entry point patched but never got a response to my email.

I do know they are a excellent group of which much of it is voluntary,and profits go back into maintaining Quetico.

I understand they are volunteers. But I volunteer here and do my job!

I won't declare War on Canada yet.... :-)

maybe your stuff is held up at customs... doing a background check on Boji..hmmmmm?

I placed a web order on 2-5 and still haven't received it. I paid via PayPal and confirmed they got paid.

I also emailed them on 2-25 and 3-4 with NO RESPONSE. I emailed again today.

If I don't hear back soon. We will go to War.

Sumthin' sounds fishy. I'd be pissed too. The person handling the money and sending out orders should relieve him/herself.

Usually something ordered from Canada does take longer.

I've gotten lots of stuff from Canada thru ebay and it hasn't taken that long to get it thru the mail. In fact they have been quicker then the USPS at times. So I would be calling them or emailing them again and if no response do a stop payment on your order.

I used the the email that RC provided and got a warm body that says my order is in the mail!!!!

A moderator is posting this threat of war?

I do lots of mailing to and fro Canada. Sometimes packages get stuck in customs for two weeks. I always plan for a month.

Letters are faster.
