Wow. I'm good through this year, but then I have to renew my OC. Thanks for the reminder.

Planning to go fishing in Quetico this summer? You'll need a current Ontario Outdoors Card (good for three years) and a current fishing license. Outdoors cards may be purchased or renewed and fishing licenses purchased on this website.
You can buy an 8-day license and enter the starting date for whenever your trip is, even if you buy your license now.
You can buy or renew the Outdoors Card and buy your fishing license all on the same transaction.

Do you get a refund if you do not catch any fish?

quote Canoe42: "Do you get a refund if you do not catch any fish? " For some, it's best not to spend the money and leave the fishing stuff at home. The refunds take too long. LOL

quote Jackfish: "quote Pinetree: "I bought the 3 year fishing license also. " You mean Outdoors Card? " No I mean 3 year fishing license in addition to the Outdoor card, all in one. My present fishing license is good thru Dec. 31, 2017.
It is printed on your Outdoor card on back when I renewed my Outdoor card and fishing license at the same time. I bought the 3 year fishing sportsmen license, but a person might as well just buy the 3 year conservation license.
I don't think I saved any money by buying the 3 year fishing license, but it was more convenient for me not to have to worry about renewing each year.

Hmmm, didn't realize that option existed. One learns something new everyday.
