Has anyone caught a lake trout in Lonely?

I'm not aware of any lakers in Lonely. I have caught some big waldos and northerns. There are lakers in Walter along the way from Elizabeth.

We caught some northern pike and a couple of walleye two years ago. mostly enjoyed the scenery and passed through.

I've never been there but plan on passing through in Sept. From some descriptions I've seen about it being deep and clear I thought it unusual that the DNR survey says there are none.
