I know I have seen several posts mentioning an early Sept. Quetico entry, and I was wondering if any members were going thru Beaverhouse for a 9/3 start. I will be up there with MacCamper for an EP32 entry. I'll wear my colors, say Hey if you're there!

Going in same place, same day. We're not early risers, but hope to get on the water by 10AM. How about you?

You will probably be ahead of us Adam--we will be leaving very early from MacCampers house in Forest Lakes and driving up. Hope to hit the water by 10, but have to go thru customs etc. So we may be there roughly the same time--I sure hope so, and also hope the wind is down! Paddle well, my friend! We will be two solo canoes, one green Wen. and one self-made cedar strip. And we will have best friends with us, Sadie with Mac and Cupcake with me. Can't wait to launch!

We will be exiting at Beaverhouse on September 4 at the end of trip starting on the south side at Lincoln Island in Basswood. Most likely we'll stay on Quetico or Cirrus Lake the night of the 3rd. If you see two guys with The Best Dog in the World in the canoe, that's us.

Don't worry. Based on our fishing skills, you have nothing to worry about ;-)

Don - we'll be the two middle-age guys with wayyyyy too much gear in a Souris River. Naturally, the Flying Moose will be proudly displayed.
Hope to see you there.
