Went to whole foods in St. Paul and got every flavor. The bison, venison and lamb were all great. Pork very good too. My advice is try them all. I met a guy on the SHT by Agnes Lake and he said they're on his pro discount list, so if any of you or anyone you know gets pro discounts have them hook you (or us) up. :)

World Market is also carrying a few different flavors of the Epic Bars...
I grabbed a venison and a bison version as well as the bag of salmon bites. I'm going to take them on my trip later this month.

I found a link on their website, where the owner of Epic wrote an op ed about the wild hog problem in Texas. I guess there is a bill that would allow a really nasty bait chemical to kill the hogs. He was against it. He thought we should shoot the hogs, and eat them. Yes! I'll try the Epic wild pork bars next, when I find them.

I like the Bison/Cranberry ones. It's bison meat with craisins. The craisins make it a little sweet. The chicken sriracha ones were a close second too. They were a little spicy for me but still good.

i just saw these the other day at our local grocer, they were in the Gluten Free section. i am not gluten free but do like some stuff. couldn't bring myself to spend the money, though. glad to see these reviews, perhaps i'll change my mind and make a purchase.

Any flavors in particular that got you addicted?

I'm not necessarily reccomending them, because they have strong and unique flavors and scents.

Nonetheless, I have to say I'm kind of addicted to these epic jerky bars, I suppose, because the strong flavors are kind of an "experience". Not exactly cheap, but I feel like I'm getting what I paid for.

The Chicken Sriracha. My wife says the scent is too strong and she doesn't like them.

That said, I like trying new flavors every time. I'm almost sure I won't particularly like them, but the flavor will be so intense and unique that know I'm in for a new experience. I'm thinking I'll order their sampler box - if you haven't tried them you'd really want to start with just one. I get them at my local natural food store.

I had these during my trip last October. Very flavorful, just don't remember which ones I had. Anyone else have particular favorites? I remember preferring the consistency of some to others, but again not sure which ones.

I have not tried them personally, but our son has, and he raved about them. Going to take a few this spring and summer.
RX Bars are nice too. Nuts, egg whites, and fruit. No added sugar.
