Very well put together video, and I really liked the lightweight tripod. However, I have to say that the BWCA rules were not being followed. Multiple campfire locations on the campsite that were not in the fire grate. Although he was very aware of practicing good fire containment techniques the BWCA is not the place for that.

stews are the perfect thing for a rainy chilly lazy day at camp
On a river trip in Maine we traveled thru two days of rain and on the third day of the steady rain we decided to hold up until the rain cleared. My Buddy whille finishing off his oatmeal that morning decided we needed a good hot stick to your ribs meal was just what we needed. He had a large bag of beef jerky he had made before the trip and started that off in the "tea billie" over coals. During the course of the day he added this and that to the pot nursing that pot like child. By late evening the smell coming from that campsite was amazing. While the rain poured by the bucket fulls, we sat under the trap and gorged outselfs.
If memory serves be right this was what he had added
Beef Jerky
dried potato slices
some dried veggies
flour dumplings
and whatever seasoning we had on hand

Looks really delish.

Camptober is hands down my favorite time to camp. Yeah, probably not on par with all the rules, but dang that looks great.
