Well you are going to be using fuel to heat it and plus the work and hassle to rehydrate it. I wouldn't bother.

I bought some and it is add water and heat and is fine but fuel and cleaning pot I decided is not worth it. YMMV.

Wondering if I boil some of my syrup down to sugar, I could pack that and on the trail with some water and heat make it back into syrup? I mean, I know I could do it, but is it practical?
