Old school rule of thumb is when the lilacs start blooming. Soil temp and moisture are the main contributors to when they start popping.
Stands of cedars poplars or elms are a good place top start.


As for a specific location, you're more likely to get someones GPS coordinates of their fishing honeyhole than their morel hunting spot!

Trips planned were gonna look. I think we're a little late at June 10th but I'm not that far north either. Time will tell.
