I just saw powdered peanut butter and might try it. We use a lot of peanut butter on BWCA scout trips and wish we could the weight a little.

Anyone try it?

It says less fat... which could be good and bad.

Trader joes has powdered peanut butter in regular flavor and chocolate. PB2. I've tried the chocolate peanut butter version. Just add water and mix. It's not as creamy as regular peanut butter, it has a drier roasted peanut flavor. It makes a nice spread for sandwiches or a dip for apples or pretzels. It really has a lot of uses and I like the taste and convenience. If you are looking for calories & fat for fueling bodies, this may not be for you because it's low fat and low calories compared to regular peanut butter. If you were to make a bunch for sandwiches, you might need a really, really lot of it, it might get way more expensive than just buying regular peanut butter.

Here is an article I found with a comparison between regular & powdered PB.
