Went to Wal Mart to purchase some Coleman Fuel, they were out! However, they had Crown Camping Fuel which I had never heard of. Has anyone used it? How does it compare to Coleman.

I noticed the same thing. I am pretty sure someone I camped with used some in a lantern last month.

The only Crown camping fuel I have used comes in a bottle in a purple bag.

For those looking, Fleet Farm still has the Coleman fuel or at least they have it at the Mason City, IA store. Online their website say it is available at select stores.

Yes I've used it, seems to work as well as Coleman. I haven't tried any specific time comparison for boiling water or anything but all of my stoves and lanterns seem to burn it with no apparent problems.

It's a naphtha/white gasoline, very similar to Coleman in performance and use. Zen Stoves Petrol notice the warnings about substituting automotive unleaded, not a fuel to use in your stove.
Coleman Fuel's disappearance from shelves may have something to do with it's preference as a solvent in illegal meth production.
