Lot of online sources, lots of choices. Will plug my favorite home state brand, Neuskes .
Trans Canada 17 has a lot of construction work. Drove Thunder Bay to Sault Ste. Marie 2 weeks ago, blasting to widen rock gaps, building added lanes, bridge work.
Have a great trip!

Great message board, but without my own drier I'll be buying jerky for my Quetico trip starting in Atikokan. A while back there was a great thread on where to buy jerky in MN, but what about in Canada. Coming from the east coast and driving across, any thoughts or should I purchase online?

Might I also suggest adding some of THIS to your order?

I'm not sure what the regs are about bringing processed meat into Canada. With that said, this is the best jerky I've ever had:

Koenemann's

Although they don't list it on-line, my old favorite was their black peppered version. They probably still have it, just not on-line. The jerky is sliced nice and thin. Volo, IL is just south of Wisconsin, so that is probably why it tastes so good!

I'm a jerky nut, and this stuff I found while living in Kentucky is out of this world! Just bought 35 ozs for our trip in a week and a half.
