I wadded into Ben's post on sausage enough. But looking at "STUFF" on E-Bay I came accross, Redwicks Freeze Dried Foods
Anybody familiar with Redwick's? Looks to be smaller sized retort packaged portions.
Been looking for FD shrimp, so I have some on the way.

The prime rib really got me hungry. I know lots like fresh steak first nite out, I'm indifferent to it. But a hunk of prime rib, New York strip, after 7 days out????
Seems to be a startup co. looking for a market, read about possible custom orders.
As I mentioned I took a leap of faith and ordered some stuff, will get back on that after trying it out.

I'm interested to see how the freeze-dried shrimp works out. I like shrimp, but have never had luck with freeze-dried (or dehydrated) shrimp meals. The shrimp is always dry, tough, and chewy - but that happens at home just reheating.
