Thanks Ethan. Love your photos. I bought an expensive (to me) camera because I wanted better pics of the BW. You do better with your I phone because you see things with a photographers eye.

Nice report and pics! I am impressed by the solitude you were able to find!! There was a fair amount of storm and rain but your fishing seemed to be pretty good.

Love the loon pic and wonder how you got the self portrait (?) out on the water on day 11.

Thanks for the report. Very nice pictures. Do you have to triple portage with all that equipment? Yes, your wife must be understanding to accomodate a 15 day trip ...did you consider that she might we vacationing in Hawaii. :)

I use a Pentax k-7 with a 28-300mm lens plus a 90mm macro lens. The panoramics were done with my iPhone.

For my self portraits I set up my tripod and set the camera timer for 12 seconds. I had to do about 3 or 4 takes before I got it right. I probably looked pretty silly running back and forth, then again no one else was around.

My wife usually waits until I get back and then she's off to Hawaii.
