That was a fun read...thx. I have yet to convince my wife of 27 years to go on just one trip. Her idea of roughing it is spelled Marriott. She did read your trip report. Chuckled. Then concluded, "I'm still not going."

that was one of the most interesting trip reports i've read! now.. Men... understand that this is really how quickly a womans mind works! LOL

Yes sir Mac.....From a gal that has a shirt that says "The woman dies with the most fabric wins". She has already been on a couple of these "shopping sprees".


I know that she has a better understanding of what is going on now. We went to the movie "A Walk in the Woods" and she said hey that looks like the BWCA without a canoe on your back. I was thinking that she see one of those 6 rod portages that are worse than some 240's. ;-)


Hey I see that one of your trip'n buddies is out here at NIACC.

You are a brave man bringing her, well out of her comfort zone.


It's going to be a long winter with all of those shopping sprees....
I am guessing, no more than usual though.

Yep. He was a victim of the plant closing in Lake Mills and is taking advantage educational assistance. Too young to retire.
