Last fall I sold the GF that was in the previous pics and bought a Niner RIP 9. Awesome bike and I'll probably never reach its limits which is fine by me.

My "Trek 4500" setup for commuting. Lights, rack, and "Kenda" 26x1.5 100psi tires and kevlar tubes.

Back to the "Bontragers", more gravel rides than pavement now.

Have had this bike for some time now. Love it. Have worn out a set of derailleurs and shifters and got them replaced for this season's riding. Looking forward to it!

Gotta mention the bike seat. My brother recommended it And I'm glad he did! I've worn out one and am on my second. Most comfortable thing I've found to park my butt on for long rides. I ordered it online from a company called The Seat. Was wondering if anyone else uses this?

Gary Fisher X-cal 29er is my main ride...used to race but not enough time for it now w/ grad school. Not the best picture but a fun ride.

Is that the trail in St. Croix, WI? Name escapes me. That sure looks familiar! If so, what a fun trail. They did a nice job with that one.

I had a good May on Craigslist, picked up a couple of nice bikes, haven't yet sold what I was riding, but I upgraded and should come out pretty good. The Bianchi is lighter and quicker than what I was riding. The Trek 520 is a classic touring bike, made for road trips and hauling camping gear, have been looking for a while, considered buying an older frame and upgrading the components, got lucky and found a two year old bike. How's the biking on the North Shore of Superior, I know they're working on a trail from Two Harbors to Grand Marais and have sections completed, it's probably not smart to ride on 61 where there is no trail?

Never heard of one of those seats before, looks kind of like one you'd find at the bow of a bass boat...

Here's a better pic of the old Fisher. Took a spacer out of the fork so it's at 100mm now when I serviced it over the winter.

My winter ride, without my rack and panniers (red Ortlieb).

Slow and steady is the theme on this bike. Single speed with flip hub for a fixie.
