Would like to buy a sd chip ready to go for my Garmin for Minnesota. I think downloading might be to much for my ability skill? any ideas?

I understand the want of a "simple add a chip solution", but a MUCH better deal is a BirdsEye subscription.
It's not as difficult as many think.
I use a similar subscription from Delorme, mated to my PN40 gps and home mapping programs.
