BearBurrito: "That is beautiful. Do you ever have blades for sale, or are they sold before you make them?"

I have an extensive order list that people are welcomed to get on and most of the knives shown here are for those people.
It's only about once every couple months I can sneak in one "for sale".

I don't want to offer anything fo sale here on this forum.
I can be contacted here: Andersen Forge

San-Mai means "three pieces". (A 1095 high carbon core sandwiched between two pieces of 416 stainless steel. (To forge weld stainless to non-stainless steel requires it be be brought up to about 2100 degrees in an oxygen-free environment then let "soak" for about 17 minutes. Then forge-welded.)
S.O.B. means Short Occasional Bowie.
Frosted and hot-blued guard and stabilized end-grain spalted maple.
