LOCATION: About 50 yards west of Jack Lake landing of portage to Kelly Lake.

My brother and I found this mine too in August 2005. I talked to a ranger and he said it was an old Gold mine more than a hundred years old. I could not stand up in this tunnel, about 5’ tall.
