PitchStump	12/04/2014 04:58AM   and it was quite the short sweet little "warm up" to a big day... good landings both sides. as I remember. (or don't) how is it that some trails seem to get the work and others we find all too important "water bars" that just needed 1 stone "just there" to keep it functional....? if I had the time I'd fix some of that myself. ....
HighPlainsDrifter	12/03/2014 11:52AM   The Strup to Wisini portage has another stairway that is a work of art and craftsmanship. As you climb the stone steps look at how careful the stones were laid in. I really like finding these places. One can only speculate on the time and brute force that was required to make these stairs. Job well done. (Photo by PitchStump June 13, 2014)
