Trip Introduction:
Since there were 3 of us this trip, I paddled my Northwind solo. I really enjoyed the flexibility of going solo... although I only paddled at 2/3 the speed of the other 2 guys in their tandem - Souris River Quetico 17.
We made 3 camps, spending 2 nights at each.
The first camp was Upper Pauness, second was on Lynx and third camp was on Lower Pauness.
We had several good daytrips, including Devil's Cascade and the northern end of Lynx.
I think we had at least some precipitation every day, including a dusting of snow on Wednesday. But we still had some little windows of good weather.
Overall a great trip with memories made both under the tarp and in front of the fire.
