Trip Introduction:
This trip was a 5 day fishing trip at the end of May 2009. I wanted to post a photo diary to tell the story. For security reasons, the lakes are unnamed.
Report
On this trip, we had good walleye fishing with many in the 20 inch range. The most consistent bite was on minnows (we seined our own). The pike were hitting harder than I ever remember up in the BWCA. As you can see, we landed several in the 10-15 lb range. Most were caught on a slip bobber and smelt off the campsite. However, I missed a monster using a slice of bacon for bait. Overall a great trip.
