Report

Hi people, 5th trip, 1st solo. Decided I'd do an easy run up to Sucker lake and camp out for 3 nights trying my hand at fishing this area and general exploring. Temps were generally between 40-45°F for the duration. No rain, light winds at my site. Good supply of firewood. I got blanked on fishing this time. I'm generally a jig or bottom bouncer fisher with wind drift. Tried some Rapala trolling. Used live crawlers or Berkley 3" leeches, nada. Campsite was nice, room for a couple of tents. Privy up a climb, close to filled up. Good trip for what I intended but I've got a lot to learn yet for finding fish but that's part of the fun. If you're bored, check out my trip video using the link in the intro or YouTube search "True North Losers".
