Trip Introduction:
Report
First time doing any BWCA trip. The portage in kicked our butts. We could have done 2 trips but ended up carrying our heavy packs with the canoes in. Once on the river it was a battle with the wind and rain. Once we found our campsite, it cleared up and the beauty of the Boundary Waters opened up to us. Wow!! I love it. Glad to experience this. Will be back again next year!
