Trip Introduction:
This was the grandkids' second trip, the first was in 2019. It was fun to see how they had matured and how they now helped more around camp and while traveling.
We did deal with some windy conditions on Pipe and Homer. Also, as we approached the portages to Vern and Pipe, there was shallow muck to deal with.
The campfire ban forced us to focus on the night sky as it got dark... beautiful show!
As a side note, one week after we exited the BWCAW, the entire area was closed due to forest fire risk!
