Trip Introduction:
After traveling th UP of Mich arrived in Grand Marais May 28 and met Nancy and Dave of Hungry Jack Outfitters. Went over food and gear packs.
Used wenonah solo canoe, capsized 1st day, lost fishing pole, but saw cow moose nursing a calf on caribou lake!
Rain every day especially in evening. Cut trip short due to weather. Otherwise had 5 days of solitude to recharge my batteries. Going to do it again in 2014!
