Second Ever Solo Trip
Report
Just did my second ever solo but this time for a 7 days. Such a time. Had a stellar moose encounter. Love those short backpacking trips they call portages whilst wearing a canoe as a hat. Rented a Northstar Magic canoe at Rockwood. Bunked at Tuscarora first night. Lively wee canoe. Great to meet Andy at Tuscarora. What a scrumptious breakfast. Route was from Missing Link to Snipe (favorite lake!) to Cross Bay, Rib, Lower George, Karl, Long Island, Gordon, Cherokee then back. Slept in Superior Hammock Starlite Elite, JRB 40º Shenandoah Ultralite TQ, Wilderness Logics 40º UQ. Superior Gear Shelter. First time using it and really liked it! Slept deeply. Paddled goodly. Fished poorly. Ate majestically. Whooooooo Buddy))))) Shug
