up early and paddling by 7. with this west wind we know bayley bay will be rockin and we decide to do the north portage option, to cut the open water paddling by half. the north portage is now north creek...water streaming everywhere.

bayley is down right nasty. its a white knuckle ride across to inlet bay...big rollers and some capping.

and that soon, its over. we are back at prairie portage.

thoughts....one hell of a challenging trip, mentally and physically. even in a steady rain i consider agnes to be the coolest, prettiest lake ive ever paddled.
