Day 8 of 9
Friday, July 07, 2006 We didn’t have far to travel today, but wanted to get an early start as we would be camping on Nina Moose Lake. We got up early and faced an average 160 rod portage over to Lake Agnes. It was hot today and I remember feeling dehydrated early. We stopped for water on Agnes and then began out trip up the Nina Moose River. The best thing about today was watching Cundiff put his pack on and his hurt finger. As unorthodox as his backpack technique was, it was double so with a hurt finger. We spent some time making fun of him and made our way to the campsite on Nina Moose after some pictures and swimming at the falls. We picked the site on the point. It was a well used site with plenty of tent pads. We cooked dinner and took some pictures before we planned for an early exit on day 9. We spent the evening playing rock homerun derby and enjoying our last night in the wilderness.
