Tuesday, June 28, 2011 We break camp at 8AM sharp and blow through the falls chain in calm dry weather. A solo canoer we dub lone man plays tag with us all the way back to the west channel in Saganaga. We converse with him at multiple portages and learn he is leaving 2 days early due to the bad weather. He is by himself because his partner dropped out. We love him because he loves the Quetico and I can see myself in his PDF someday. Since the water is calm we paddle all the way back to Voyaguers and spend our last night in the north in Grand Marais
