We decide to stay put for another night here and do a day trip. After all, we are all old enough to not want to break any distance records on this trip! The cliffs on Quetico Lake are amazing, some with pictographs I am told, though I myself did not see any. We explored the small river connecting Quetico with Cirrus Lake. A beautiful area, and we are again successful in catching fish for dinner. There is a small pool with a waterfall that is just another gem in the park! We are content to spend the afternoon in camp and enjoy the day.

As the day ends, the sky clouds over and the eagles come to roost in a dead tree across from our camp. They must know we are good fishermen and hoping for a handout!
