As we packed the car up and drove back to Wisconsin where we would spend one night together before going our separate ways we all reminisced about the wonderful trip we had. It is not difficult to see where I got my excitement for the wilderness when I hear my dad talking about what he wants to do next year, and how happy he was we did this. I can honestly say my mom and dad LOOKED younger after the trip, and I know they felt it. That’s why the Q is such an amazing place. Somehow you can work your butt off for a week, and be relatively uncomfortable for a large portion of that time, and you come out feeling refreshed! How does that work!? Its amazing how quickly after a trip you forget the times it rained, and the times it was cold, and the times you couldn’t sleep, and the times the food took too long to prepare, and on and on and on. All you seem to remember is that it all worked together to be an awesome trip and you cant wait to do it again. At least that is how it is for me. Something tells me if you made it through this entire report, you feel the same way.
