Saturday, July 07, 2018 - Rough Day
The day starts out rough for me as I don’t feel well and figure I’ve got a bit of dehydration. I rest in camp while the rest of the crew fish right from shore and catch a handful of nice pike from 3’ of water.
We head back down to the beach spot for another swim and some lunch. Lunch does not sit well with me and I vomit. We head back to camp and I head for the tent to rest hoping to feel better in the morning. They guys hang out in camp and work the Garmin Inreach texting back and forth for medical advice attempting to decide what malady I’ve got and talk about contacting the outfitter if things turn worse.
The night comes with another massive storm. Chris says that he was pretty sure that there were actually ½ dozen guys outside with power washers cleaning our tent for a few hours. All are surprised the next morning to find that our tarp was still standing and the tent did not fail.
