Tuesday, June 18, 2019 We had a light shower after we got up, but we weren't in a hurry to get anywhere so we just had leisurely coffee, tea, hot chocolate (we're a group of diverse people when it comes to preferred morning beverage) and breakfast.

We went out fishing at about 10:15 for 90 minutes. Kept a Northern (shore lunch) and six Walleye. My wife and nephew practiced their knot tying skills and worked crossword puzzles during the early afternoon. We went out for a little catch-and-release fishing later in the afternoon and it was rewarding to be able to paddle my father-in-law around while he fished. We've covered a lot of water in canoe country together over the years. I may have gotten something in my eye when I got a little nostalgic sitting in the back of the canoe. :-)

We made sweet and sour walleye for dinner. It's kinda putzy, but it's great when the weather is perfect and you're not in a hurry.
