I got up this morning and immediately went out on the lake. Another foggy cold day, but I knew where the fish were the day before. I caught 4 nice walleye within about an hour. It was great, just what I love. I kept 2 for lunch. By the time I got back to camp, the wind was really starting to pick up. We knew the SW wind would be a problem on snowbank, so we packed up early and left. We had a little harder paddle getting out, but nothing crazy. We made it back to Ely around dinner time, and had to stop for a burger and a beer. Highly recommend stopping at the Boathouse for lunch/dinner. They have some good beer and burgers for sure!
