We decided to loop Counter Clockwise (revrse of the above ) as the wind forecast suggested later in the trip Basswood Lake would be a little crazy. Heart Attack Hill put my out of shape body in my place. I overpacked and was carrying 70+lbs, plus canoe. I had to take breaks, and we paddled to 1555, right near UBF. WHAT A GREAT CAMPSITE !!!! This was a grueling leg for novice people like me, but I enjoyed the challenge and the day was beautiful, barely any wind and sunny, not to warm.
