Entry Point 54 - Seagull Lake

Seagull Lake entry point allows overnight paddle or motor (10 HP (except where paddle only) max). This entry point is supported by Gunflint Ranger Station near the city of Grand Marais, MN. The distance from ranger station to entry point is 50 miles. No motors (use or possession) west of Three Mile Island. Large lake with several campsites. landing at Seagull Lake. This area was affected by blowdown in 1999.

Dang! I saw where you were going and that it was a 10 night trip and then...... where's the trip report??? I was expecting a day by day account of your adventure. I feel let down quite frankly. Can you at least post more trip pics?

I felt the same way... Didn't understand the comment about needing signs for portages and campsites either. But I can't think of a much nicer place to go.

10 days ..... I am sure you have many fantastic memories. Also, great advice regarding mosquito repellant and netting.
