I'm guessing finger-lining the bass makes is more sporting?? And good thing those pike didn't launch into the boat like the bass - that looked like a sticky situation. Looks like a great trip; thanks for sharing it!

Mcsweem caught some nice fish and I was lucky enough to have the camera going when his line tangled and he had to pull it in by hand. Then the smallie jumping into the canoe and getting stuck to the back of his PFD. The canoe is a SR Quetico 18.5 3 seater.
