Entry Point 38 - Sawbill Lake

Sawbill Lake entry point allows overnight paddle only. This entry point is supported by Tofte Ranger Station near the city of Tofte, MN. The distance from ranger station to entry point is 25 miles. Access is a boat landing at Sawbill Lake. This area was affected by blowdown in 1999.

Nice.....glad you had fun. I leave Friday for my trip up north. Hope we have as much fun as you four had, with better fish catching.

Glad the trip went well. Jealous of your Otter encounter, still waiting to see one! Too bad the fish did not cooperate, but if it makes you feel any better we did even worse than you on Sawbill.


Rangers must like Sawbill. We were visited while on the island site in the North part of the lake.

Was it this week? Monday? They said to us that day they were making the rounds on Sawbill so maybe they were the same rangers.
